Walk the proposed route early
Ask the installer to identify the delivery, unloading, staging, and room-access assumptions that affect its system. Put them on the site plan and conduct a project-specific walk-through before finishes or landscaping make changes costly.

Assign protection and change responsibility
Record who protects finished surfaces, clears the route, coordinates timing with trades, and pays for changes caused by access constraints. Include the point when the room is ready for installation and the conditions required for final handover.
